Leroy Pope is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work bridges fashion, memory, and movement to explore legacy, identity, and healing. As founder of Renee Renelle and The Youniform Project, Leroy reimagines uniforms and everyday rituals as tools for empowerment and transformation. In 2025, he became the first brand to present both a full-scale marketplace and experimental exhibition at the Newark Museum with Tension & Release, a dynamic exploration of dance as protest and rebirth.

Neurodivergent and raised in Harlem, Leroy has always challenged norms—constantly questioning life, religion, and purpose. A curious child at heart, he leads with inquiry—why, how, when, and where—fueling a practice rooted in research, storytelling, and thoughtful design. Through each project, he builds systems of belonging—where style becomes a language for survival, truth, and change.
